Elbow: General information
Much less common than for the knees, hips, hands or the spine, osteoarthritis of the elbow is mainly secondary. It is usually consecutive to repeated actions leading to micro trauma. These actions are often related to work.
So-called primitive osteoarthritis of the elbow is very exceptional (spontaneous appearance).
